The Avoidant Reset Code will open in September 2026

A 3-month program for men who are ready to stop repeating avoidant relationship patterns — whether they're single or with a partner.

You’re tired of repeating the same relationship patterns?

You're done with unintentionally pushing partners away?

With feeling engulfed or smothered by your partner?

Chronic low-grade loneliness you pass off as "needing space."

Suppressing needs until they explode or turn into resentment?

You want a secure, healthy relationship — but don’t know how to get there?

The hard part isn't wanting to change, though...

Most men who end up here have wanted things to be different for a long time. What's been missing isn't motivation — it's understanding where their patterns come from, and a structured and effective way to work on changing them. That's exactly what the three months program is for.

Join the Avoidant Reset Code.

After this program you will:

- Understand where your avoidance actually comes from — not just the symptoms
- Have effective strategies to resolve the root causes and develop secure attachment
- Have your formula for navigating difficult relationship situations instead of shutting down
- Have the know-how & emotional skills to handle your own feelings and your partner's
- Create the conditions for your partner to actually feel close to you

- Be sure where your relationship stands — and what it needs

...and by all of that:

Stop enduring your relationships — and start actually enjoying them

This work goes deeper than advice or learning new concepts. It’s about real, lasting change. In ARC you will, for 3 months:

- Participate in weekly live group sessions with Thomas & Maika focused on the insights you need to move forward

- Implement your insights in daily exercises to build new behaviors in your relationships

- Get support in weekly Q&A sessions with Thomas & Maika, and perhaps most importantly:

- Be part of and engage with a community of men doing the same work

Who ARC is for

ARC is exclusively for men, and specifically tailored for men with avoidant attachment tendencies, whether they're in a relationship or currently single.

Your program instructors

Thomas and Maika are clinical psychologists with work experience both in the field of clinical psychology and as consultants in organizational settings. We’ve helped hundreds of clients get to the next step in their personal growth. We live in Berlin, Germany. You can read more about us and our qualifications individually on our websites: www.thomassteinborn.com and www.maikasteinborn.com

In the past few years, we’ve noticed a bias online when it comes to attachment and relationship issues: a gap of support for people leaning towards an avoidant attachment style. We’ve made it our mission to close this gap and offer the help avoidants look for when searching for a solution to their problems. In 1:1 sessions with many avoidants, we’ve gotten the feedback that we’re onto something. We welcome you to be part of our community of avoidant men working towards secure attachment.

Your investment

ARC isn't a course you work through alone and forget. It's three months of guided, structured work — designed to change patterns that have shaped your relationships for a long time.

Avoidant patterns rarely shift on their own, or through self-help content alone. Left alone, the same dynamic tends to return — the next relationship reaching the same wall, or the current one quietly losing its ease. The real cost of waiting isn't dramatic; it's another stretch of the same distance.

Three focused months are a small investment compared to years of the same pattern repeating. Your one-time investment: 1,500 €.

This is a real step. We've got the rest.

We're confident we can help you get better results with this program. However, if ARC turns out not to be right for you, you can request a full refund within 30 days of the program start — through the contact form or from inside the members area.

Program details

Start of the program

Enrollment of the 3-month program will be possible again in September, 2026.

Format and timings

Two weekly sessions — a discovery session and a live Q&A session. All sessions are recorded and available to members. Other core elements of the program are: a moderated community chat, worksheets, recorded guided audio exercises and reference materials to support you through your process.

This is not therapy

ARC is a coaching and personal development program. It is not a form of therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and is not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require clinical support, please seek help from a qualified professional. By enrolling, you acknowledge that you understand this distinction.

FAQs

Yes. After completing the modules, you can stay on for a small, affordable fee — keeping full access to the curriculum and recordings, plus ongoing live Q&A sessions and community.

Unfortunately not at this moment.

Reach out any time through the contact form — we'll get back to you.

The Discovery sessions give you the insights and tools you need to move forward. The live Q&A sessions create space for addressing what comes up as you put those insights into practice.

All live sessions are recorded and made available to members, so you can watch anything you missed in your own time.

No. ARC is built just as much for the quieter situation — the man who functions well in most areas of life, but keeps noticing the same patterns in his relationships. You don't need things to feel urgent or acute. If you recognize avoidant patterns in your life and want to change them, that's enough.
